In a world drowning in fast fashion, dust & grace is unapologetically Australian: fewer pieces, made better.
Angeliza is more than a designer; she is a champion of rural creativity. Her vision blends horsewoman intuition with design expertise and a commitment to leaving the the industry better than she found it. She stands for grit, craft, and impact.
Angeliza grew up on a cattle station where horses were teachers, dust was constant, and practicality was non-negotiable. Her mother ran a riding school, and the yards were just as much a classroom as the kitchen table.
Before fashion design became her calling, Angeliza worked as a vet nurse, an electrician, and on heavy machinery, all roles that sharpen a person’s eye for durability and function. And throughout it all, she rode. Polocrosse, pony club, eventing, carriage driving, packhorse trekking – disciplines that teach you exactly what gear endures under equestrian pressure.
Introducing dust & grace and the flagship Australian manufactured LadyRider Sculpt jeans, launching in 2026.
What Makes the LadyRider Sculpt Jean Different
The LadyRider is practical, flattering, and intentionally crafted. The denim is a 14oz stretch Italian made from Australian cotton – tough enough for the saddle, flexible enough for long days, and refined enough to dress up.
The front pockets have been removed to eliminate bulk, replaced with a structured panel that smooths and supports the midsection. Butt-shaping darts sculpt without restricting movement. The waistband rises naturally at the back to eliminate the riding gap.
And the length? Riders finally get jeans that can be customised to their perfect leg length: cut-to-length functionality between 30 and 40 inches.
These are jeans that fit like they were designed by someone who truly understands the female riding body – because they were. One of Angeliza’s test riders, Karin Howard, put it best: “Comfy… it just feels like you’ve got your own skin on.”
From Spurs to Socials
The philosophy behind this jean is simple: a modern cowgirl’s life doesn’t end at the arena gate. She rides, she works, she competes and she socialises. She wants denim that respects both her athletic needs and her sense of style.
This is the jean you can run a pattern in, lean across a saddle horn, dust off, and drive into town wearing with your favourite top. No pretence. No compromise. Just high-performance denim with a sophisticated silhouette.
Only 150 Pairs: Orders Open Now
The first release of the LadyRider Sculpt Jean is strictly limited. Each pair is numbered and marks the beginning of a new chapter in Australian equestrian apparel.

Why Australian-Made Matters
LadyRider Jeans are a rare expression of Australian craftsmanship at its finest. Cut, sewn, and finished in Melbourne using denim woven from our own cotton and milled to European luxury standards, they stand as a quiet rebellion against disposable fashion.
Keeping production here matters. It protects the skilled hands that built Australia’s fashion heritage. It keeps knowledge alive on our shores. And it allows Angeliza to walk the factory floor – adjusting seams, refining silhouettes, honouring the craft with the precision of someone who has spent a lifetime in the saddle.
Jean Sisters
Each pair of LadyRider Jeans is individually numbered and registered to the cowgirl who breaks them in, preserving the story of where they’ve been. After a year (or whenever the wearer is ready), she can trade them back for up to $100. The jeans are then cleaned, repaired, and reimagined for their second life, sold into the urban fashion market where authentic wear is coveted.
There is no artificial distressing. No sandblasting. No toxic processes. Just the real marks of real cowgirls – fading, saddle time, and Western grit.
All profits from the second sale go toward supporting rural women through entrepreneurial education and startup funding. The jeans return value to the land and the communities that shaped them.
Boots, Denim & Dancing
On 22 January 2026 at the Great Western Hotel, Rockhampton, we’ll be celebrating the LadyRider launch in true style – line dancing, mounted fashion show, a charity auction, and personalised jean fittings. A night of denim, dancing, and community done right.
